For the past twenty years, our team has accumulated the most valuable integration experience for medical devices. We have developed and marketed our products in the U.S. and around the world, providing the medical industry with innovative low-cost, high-quality medical devices. We have established ourselves as one of the most cost effective operations in the medical device industry by effectively integrating engineering design and injection molding capabilities with a clean-room manufacturing presence in China.

Our Product Development Cycle can save you up to 20%-30% in cost & time

We offer our customers integrated turnkey solutions which include: patent development, product design, FDA  regulatory approval, prototyping, injection molding, final product manufacturing, and marketing. Our customers are medical devices inventors with an innovation or established device companies that are seeking a partner who can provide cost-effective engineering and manufacturing services. Globe’s experiences, capabilities, and strengths provide the exact solutions that our customers are seeking.

As a global leader in medical products design and development, Globe Medical Tech was the winner of the prestigious 2008 Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) by Medical Device & Diagnostic Industry Magazine. The MDEA was given to Globe for excellence in supplying and designing the Control Syringe Injector. This is proof of Globe’s outstanding design and manufacturing capability.

We can offer you a free 3-D drawing, assembly drawing and even an animation of the functions of your concept or product usually within one week; drawings will be yours to keep even if you decide not to continue working on this project. Our goal is to prove our design and development capabilities first. You have no risk but to gain a presentable 3D drawings and/or animation to show your investors or corporate decision makers.

Advantages of our turnkey solutions in the product development cycle:

  1. Everything is accomplished in-house. We offer a complete team onsite; this includes the design, injection molding, and assembly team all at the same site. It is especially important to have the engineer onsite to help troubleshoot any problems that may arise. As a result issues are quickly resolved because the proper personnel are in place.

  2. Development of your new device in half the time by reducing trial and error. It is a way to quantifiably minimize the cost of delay.

  3. Improve your product development speed, quality, and cost.

  4. Assemble and test small lots of functional prototypes to verify the design concept. We also provide immediate sample testing results and engineering recommendations within 1- 2 days via our on-site development team in China.

  5. The above testing process will be based on your (or co-developed by both parties) design criteria/ specifications. We will provide you with video and photos for review on the same day.

  6. The engineering recommendations may include: design and materials changes, molds structure changes, low cost assemble process (like bonding, lubrication, ultrasound welding, auto or semi-auto assemble, etc.), FDA and ISO guidelines, OSHA safety guidelines, cost containment options in sterilization and packaging.

  7. Provide options for different market targets. For example, US FDA and the China FDA have different certified programs for material suppliers and clinical safety factors which result in different cost structures.

  8. The feedback speed is critical to the time and cost of development. A well-structured feedback loop actually creates the opportunity for high efficiency which will reduce the time of the development cycle without sacrificing product quality.
